Pool Removal Contractor Leads — Exclusive, Pre-Qualified, and Yours Alone
ByeByePool is not a lead marketplace. We are a curated matchmaking platform that sends each homeowner lead to one contractor only — the right one for that project, in that location. If that sounds like what your business needs, we’d like to hear from you.

Built by a Homeowner Who Couldn’t Find a Good Contractor
ByeByePool was founded by a Massachusetts homeowner going through the pool removal process himself — a homeowner who searched for contractors, got called by five people he’d never heard of, and struggled to figure out who was actually worth trusting. That experience is the foundation of everything we built.
We are not trying to sell leads at volume. We are trying to make the pool removal experience better for homeowners — and the only way to do that is to work with contractors who genuinely care about doing the job right. That means we are selective. It means we do not approve every contractor who applies. And it means that when we send you a lead, it is a homeowner who has been properly educated about cost expectations and is genuinely ready to move forward.
If you are a licensed, insured pool removal specialist who takes pride in your work and treats homeowners fairly, we want to talk. Read on to understand exactly how our platform works and what we look for in a partner.
How ByeByePool Is Different From Every Other Lead Platform
Most lead generation platforms for home services are built around volume — sell as many leads as possible to as many contractors as possible. That creates a race to the phone, annoyed homeowners, and contractors burning money on leads that go nowhere. We built something different on purpose.
Angi, HomeAdvisor, Thumbtack
- Same lead sold to 3 to 5 contractors
- Race to call the homeowner first
- Homeowner gets bombarded with calls
- You compete on price under pressure
- Lead quality is inconsistent
- No vetting of homeowner readiness
- General contractor directories
ByeByePool
- Each lead goes to one contractor only
- No race — the lead is yours exclusively
- Homeowner expects your call specifically
- You quote on your terms, not under pressure
- Homeowners pre-qualify with budget and timeline
- Homeowners confirm they understand removal costs
- Pool removal specialists only
What We Require From Every Partner
We review every contractor application personally. We check credentials before approving anyone. These are the requirements — no exceptions.
Active State License
Valid contractor license in every state where you perform work. We verify license numbers before approval.
General Liability Insurance
Minimum $1 million in coverage. We require a certificate of insurance listing ByeByePool as a certificate holder.
Workers Compensation
Active workers comp coverage for all employees. Required in every state we operate.
Pool Removal Experience
Demonstrated experience in pool removal specifically — not just general excavation. We ask for references and photos of completed projects.
Permit Knowledge
You must know the permit requirements in your service area and pull permits yourself. We do not work with contractors who skip permits.
Honest Pricing
Transparent, itemized quotes. No bait-and-switch. Homeowners trust us — and we trust you to honor that.
How the Partnership Works
You Apply and We Vet You
Submit your contractor application with your license number, insurance certificates, service area, removal experience, and references. We review every application personally — usually within one business day. We check credentials, verify licenses, and confirm insurance before any approval.
We Match You with the Right Homeowners
When a homeowner in your service area submits a project that fits your expertise, we match them with you. You receive their contact information, project details — pool type, size, removal preference, budget, and timeline — and reach out on your own schedule. No competition. No race to the phone.
You Quote, You Win the Job, We Both Grow
You take it from there. Quote the job, answer questions, close at the price that works for your business. As ByeByePool grows its homeowner traffic in your market, your lead flow grows with it. We are building something long term and we want partners who are too.
Markets We Currently Serve
ByeByePool connects homeowners with pool removal specialists across the Northeast, Midwest, and Western United States. We are actively expanding into new markets and welcome contractor applications from any state where pool removal is performed. Current active markets include:
Don’t see your state? Apply anyway. We are expanding continuously and contractor applications from unlisted states go into our pipeline for upcoming markets.
Contractor Partner FAQ
How does ByeByePool send leads to contractors?
When a homeowner submits a pool removal project, we review the details and hand-match them with one pre-vetted contractor in their service area. We do not blast leads to multiple contractors. Each lead goes exclusively to one specialist — you receive the homeowner’s contact information and project details directly and follow up on your own timeline.
What information does a lead include?
Every ByeByePool lead includes the homeowner’s name, phone, email, zip code, pool type, pool size, removal preference, budget range, timeline, and property type. Homeowners also confirm they are the decision maker and that they understand removal costs before submitting. You are receiving genuinely pre-qualified project inquiries.
How is ByeByePool different from Angi or HomeAdvisor?
Angi and HomeAdvisor sell the same lead to multiple contractors simultaneously, creating a race to call the homeowner first. ByeByePool sends each lead to one contractor only. You are not competing with four other contractors for the same homeowner. The lead is yours exclusively when we send it — and the homeowner is expecting your call specifically.
What are the requirements to become a partner?
Active state contractor license, general liability insurance ($1M minimum), workers compensation, demonstrated pool removal experience with verifiable references, knowledge of local permit requirements in your service area, and a commitment to honest pricing and transparent communication. We verify credentials before approving any contractor.
What markets does ByeByePool currently serve?
Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Minnesota, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, and Oregon — with new markets being added continuously. If your state is not listed, apply anyway. We review all applications and add markets based on contractor and homeowner demand.
How do I apply?
Fill out our contractor application. We ask for your license number, insurance information, service area, types of removal you perform, permit practices, references, and your website or Google Business Profile. We review every application personally and respond to every contractor who applies.
